Tour Beautiful Cueva Ventana

Embark on a guided adventure led by trained environmental interpreters through breathtaking natural caves featuring stunning formations like stalactites and stalagmites. Along the way, our guides share fascinating insights about the tropical flora, fauna, and the surrounding environment. Visitors will also learn about the history of the Taíno indigenous people, the Northern Karst region, petrographs, archaeological discoveries, endemic species, geology, and speleology during this approximately 90-minute walk. The tour culminates with the most awe-inspiring view from the 700-foot-high cliff at the iconic “Cueva Ventana,” overlooking the majestic Río Grande de Arecibo Valley.

  • Participants 6-17 must be accompanied by an adult
  • This is a tour through a cave, and at times the trail can be rugged.
  • We recommend this tour for visitors who can scale steep stairs, and uneven walking ground
  • We are not able to accommodate wheelchairs or strollers
  • All visitors must wear closed-toed shoes (tennis shoes or similar) appropriate for walking through a forest and cave, we will not accept crocs or beach shoes.
